Please do not bring alcohol onto the Green tonight - Surrey Police will be repeating last year’s policy of removing and destroying alcohol brought onto the green by underage drinkers. This policy makes the event safer for everyone and keeps it a family-friendly, fun event for all to enjoy. Please don’t bring alcohol onto the Green. Many thanks

  1. The churchbells will ring as is usual from 6pm until the procession is gathered around the bonfire, 7.30pm.
    There may also be ringing of the bells from about 3.30pm from a visiting band of ‘young’ ringers.
    All adds to the occasion!
